    JOHN E. FAILINGER
  
    John E. Failinger, 51, of Grantsville, died Nov. 29, 1975, in Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.  Born in Granstville, Feb. 20, 1924, he was a son of
  the late William Failinger and Orpha (Durst) Failinger.
    He was a construction worker.
    Surviving are his wife, the former Debra Bittinger; two sons, Donald Ray
  Failinger of Washington, D.C.;  John E. Failinger Jr., at home;  four
  brothers, Raymond and Donald Failinger, both of Grantsville; William of
  Baltimore; and Kermit of Frostburg; and two sisters, Mrs. Ivan Swauger,
  Cumberland; and Mrs. Clyde Krause, Baltimore.
    Funeral service was conducted Tuesday morning in Newman Funeral Home,
  Grantsville, with Rev. William Ferguson officiating.  Interment in Addison
  Cemetery.
