Fake, 88, of Somerset, formerly of Frystown, Berks County, passed on July 29, 2002 at Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate. Born Aug. 27, 1913 in Annville. Son of the late Clayton and Emma (Withers) Fake. Preceded in death by wife Esther in June 2002, two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his daughter Janice married to Roger Forry of Somerset, son David, married to Mary Ann Fake of Frystown, three granddaughters, a grandson and three great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Annville Church of the Brethren and a retired employee of the United Shoe Machinery Co. in Harrisburg. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army in World War II and a member of the American Legion in Palmyra. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at South Annville Cemetery in Annville, Rev. Mark Bendes officiating. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Somerset Church of the Brethren Building fund at 303 S. Center Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
