Fanale, 58, Verona, died Jan. 21 at his residence. He was born March 4, 1918 in Quecreek, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Fanale. Preceeded [sic] in death by his parents and one brother, William. Survived by his wife, Josephine Gaio Fanale, and these children: Peggy Jo, wife of John Budnik, Fairfax, Va., Nancy and Kathy both at home, and one grandchild, and these brothers and sisters: Patsy of Somerset, Mrs. Chester Gurzenda, Plum Boro, Mrs. Henry Schroyer and Amato both of Quecreek. He was a graduate of Somerset High School Class of '36, and Penn State Class of 1940. He was employed as a chemist in research and development for the Gulf Corporation the last 35 years. Friends will be received in the William Gross Funeral Home, Frankstown Road, Penn Hills. Funeral Mass Monday, 11 a.m. in St. Gerard Magella Roman Catholic Church, Penn Hills. Interment Mt.
