  FANALE
  
  Hazel Fanale, 79, of Patriot Manor, Somerset, died May 9, 1998 in Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Oct. 6, 1918 in Somerset County, daughter of the late Guy
  and Goldie (Stahl) Shaulis.  Preceded in death by husband, Patsy J. Fanale
  on Dec. 22, 1989 and a brother Dwight Shaulis.  Survived by these children:
  Dale and Dennis, both of York, and Elaine Petras, Puyallup, Wash.; 8
  grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.  Also a sister Erma Johnson of
  Butler and brothers Kermit and Dalton Shaulis, both of Somerset.  Member
  of St,. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Somerset; 55 and Over Speeders, and
  Farm Women.  Friends were received Monday in Robert H. Halverson Funeral
  Home.  Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Peter's Roman
  Catholic Church, Somerset, Msgr. Samuel J. Tomaselli, celebrant. 
  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, memorials
  may be given to St. Peter's Church or the American Heart Association.
