  Fani, Bessie V. (Custer)  05/21/05  Daily American
  
  Bessie V. (Custer) Fani, 83, Newark, Del., passed away peacefully on May 19,
  2005 surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband of 62 years,
  Philip Fani; her sons, Ronald Roy Fani, Stoystown, and Richard Philip Fani,
  Hagerstown, Md.; her daughter, Diane Romesberg, Newark, Del.; seven
  grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Fani, a homemaker, was born
  in Somerset. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at Mealey
  Funeral Home, Limestone and Milltown Roads, Wilmington, Del., where friends are
  invited to call after 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at the Delaware Veterans
  Memorial Cemetery, Bear, Del. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests
  contributions in Bessie's name to a charity of your choice.
