He was born July 3, 1899 in Westmoreland County, son of the late Joseph and Susan (Kozar) Farkosh. Also preceded in death by son, Donald, and a sister and brother. Survived by his wife the former Mary Ann Gonda and these children: Paul of Belle Vernon, Pa., Francis, John and Carl, all of Somerset, James Regis, of Somerset RD 4, Mrs. Charles (Bernadine) Baker, Guy, Kenneth, Mrs. John (Rite) Gulish, all of Lorain, Ohio, Dennis, Somerset RD 6, George of Elyria, Ohio, 37 grandchildren. He was a brother of Miss Susan, Stephen, and Michael, all of Acme RD 1, John of Somerset, Mrs. Michael Novak of Pleasant Unity. He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Somerset, the FOE, the home association of the VFW, a retired employe [sic] of PennDOT. Friends are being received in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday, requiem mass Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Peters Catholic Church Rev. Father Samuel Tomaselli officiating.
