  FARLING
  
  Alexander C. Farling, 79, of Rockwood died April 19. 1999 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Feb. 15, 1920 in Akron, Ohio, son of Alexander and Mary
  Jane Farling.  Preceded in death by parents, brothers Cleon and Lewis and
  sister Zadelle Buckley.  Survived by wife of 55 years, Mary Eleanor
  (Ringer) Farling and son Charles A. (married to Theresa) Farling,
  Somerset.  A member of Trinity Reformed Church in Rockwood, where he was an
  elder and deacon of the church.  U.S. Navy veteran of W.W.II.,  Member of
  Lodge #358 of the F. & A.M., Somerset, the Harrisburg Consistory, the
  Rockwood American Legion Dav. and Musicians Union.  Employed as a
  supervisor of the Somerset State Hospital, dietary department.  A private
  funeral service will be held at Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood.  Pastor Mark
  Bender officiating.  Interment I.O.O.F. Cemetery.  Memorial contributions
  may be sent to the Trinity Reformed Church, Main St., Rockwood Pa. 15557.
