  FARNHAM
  
  Kendall D. Farnham, 61, Portsmouth, R.I. formerly of the area died Aug. 18,
  in Fall River, Mass.  He was born March 22, 1912 in Tiverton, R.I. and was a
  son of Frank G. and Grace (Darling) Farnham.  He was preceded in death by
  his parents and his wife, the former Betty E. Miller.  He is survived by a
  daughter, Mrs. John P. (Gail) Matthews Jr. of Douglas, Ariz.; three
  grandsons and a sister, Miss Virginia F. Farnham of Portsmouth, R.I.  He
  served in the SeaBees during WWII.  The family will receive friends 7 to 9
  p.m. Tuesday at the Charles R. Deaner Funeral Home in Stoystown where
  services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. James R.
  Ling officiating.  Interment at Beam Cemetery.
