  Eva Lee Farrell, 97, formerly of Canonsburg, died March 15, 2005, in the home
  of her daughter. She was born Aug. 26, 1907, in Fallston, a daughter of the
  late James Howard and Mary Ellen Gallagher Springer. On Jan. 30,1937, she
  married Patrick W. Farrell who died on July 5, 1987. She also is preceded in
  death by a great-grandchild, Matthew Wheatley; a son-in-law Dr. John Wheatley;
  four brothers Charles, Wilbert, Howard and Roy Springer; five sisters Mary
  Ellen Huber, Clara Webb, Edna Fife, Lila and Lottie Springer. Surviving are one
  daughter, Patricia Wheatley, Confluence; four grandchildren: Patrick, Daniel,
  Andrew and Vanessa Wheatley; three step grandchildren: Becky Bankes, John and
  Michael Wheatley; 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She
  was a member of First United Methodist Church, Canonsburg. Friends will be
  received from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in Bogan Funeral Homes Inc., 164 W. Pike St.,
  Canonsburg. A service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday in First United Methodist
  Church, Canonsburg. Dr. Joseph Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in
