(Weaver) Farsht, 86, formerly of Jennerstown, died Nov. 28, 2003, at Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate. Born July 13, 1917, in Jenner Township, daughter of Judson C. and Charlotte J. (Georg) Weaver. Preceded in death by parents; husband Joseph R. and brother Allen. Survived by sons; Joseph A., married to Diana Murray, Noakesville Va.; and Jeffrey E., Jennerstown; grandchildren, Judson, Jasmine and Joel Farsht; and sisters Althea, widow of John Nichol, Somerset; and Alberta "Bertie," widow of Raymond Wylie, Jennerstown. Graduate of the former Boswell High School. Member of Laurel Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jennerstown, where she served as Sunday school superintendent for many years, and also was a member of the Knotty Ladies. At the family's request, there will be no public viewing. Family and friends will be received from 12:30 p.m. until the time of memorial service 1 p.m. Thursday at Laurel Trinity Church. The Rev. Jacquelyn M. Ahern officiating. Interment Lutheran Cemetery, Jennerstown. Flowers may be delivered to the church after 9 a.m. Thursday. Arrangements in charge of the Hoffman Funeral Homes.
