  CHARLES FATE
  
   Charles W. Fate, 54, Akron, Ohio, formerly of Salisbury, died Wednesday,
  March 29, in Akron.
    Born in Boynton, he was a son of Mrs. Lottie (Showalter) Fate, of
  Salisbury, and the late Charles Fate.
    Also surviving are his wife, the former Velma Brown, formerly of Finzel; a
  son, Jack, Akron; a daughter, Mary Lee, at home; six grandchildren; and a
  sister, Mrs. Ruby Gomer, Hyndman RD 1.
    Living in Akron for the past 25 years, he was an employee at Goodyear for
  24 years, and was a member of Goodyear's 20-year club.  He belonged to
  Willard United Church of Christ.
    Funeral service was conducted on Saturday, Apr. 1, in Schermesser Funeral
  Home, Akron, with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.
