  MRS CHARLES FATE
  
   Mrs. Lottie L. Fate, 86, of Hyndman RD 1, died Aug 13, 1974, in Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.
    A native of Salisbury, she was a daughter of the late Greenbrier and
  Barbara (Garlitz) Showalter, and was the widow of Charles Fate.  Preceded in
  death by three children, Harry, Charles, and Evelyn.
    She was a member of St John's United Church of Christ, Salisbury.
    Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ruby Gomer, Hyndman RD 1; eight
  grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
    Funeral service was conducted Friday afternoon in Thomas Funeral Home,
  Salisbury, with Rev. Ernest N. Rumbaugh officiating.  Interment in Salisbury
  Cemetery.
