"Judy" Faulkner Jr., 68, Somerset RD 3, died Sept. 16, 1989, in Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital, Johnstown. Born Feb. 12, 1921, in Hooversville, son of the late George Marshall Faulkner Sr., and the late Lottie Marie (Meyers) Faulkner. Also preceded by two brothers, Torrence and Dennis. Survived by wife, the former Frances L. Berkebile, and these children: Terril D., married to the former Ruth Bitters, and Garner G., married to the former Pamelia Swain, and Mrs. Thomas (Linda) Christner, all of Somerset RD 3; Mrs. Clark (Ramona Sue) Roddy, Somerset RD 7; and Jeffrey L., Grantville RD 2; also 7 grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. Retired after 28 years as an insurance agent for Nationwide Insurance Company. Veteran U.S. Army Air Corps World War II, Pacific theatre. Member First United Methodist Church, V.F.W. Post 554, American Legion Post 181, International and National Bench Rest Shooters Assoc., and the National Rifle Assoc. Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Rev. Dr. Arthur Gotjen officiating.
