FAUST MINISTER, TEACHER EXPIRES WINDBER - The Rev. Dr. Alvin G. Faust, a native of Paint Township, died Sunday in Wilkinsburg, Allegheny County, at the age of 89. Dr. Faust was a teacher for 40 years in Paint Township, Scalp Level and Pittsburgh district schools and was a minister in the Church of the Brethren. Dr. Faust also operated a Holstein farm for a time at the Deerfield Farm, Windber R.D. 1, and was a registered genealogist. JOSEPH JOHNS LINK He is survived by his widow, the former Edythe (Alfred) Statler. Dr. Faust's first wife, the former Maude C. Johns, a great-great-granddaughter of Joseph Johns, died in 1968.
