Fawner, Henry Russell

  At the home of his sister, Mrs. Charles Plitt, of North Street, Henry Russell 
Fawner died Sunday evening following a week's illness from pneumonia. Mr. Fawner 
was born in Johnstown 48 years ago, but his parents came to Meyersdale when he 
was quite young and he has resided here ever since. His parents died some years 
ago and for the past two years he has made his home with his sister who is the 
only surviving member of the family. He was a shoemaker by trade. Funeral 
services were held at the Plitt home Tuesday afternoon at 2 p. m. The Rev. J. C. 
Matteson officiated, interment in Union Cemetery.
