She was born May 24, 1915, in New Castel. She had resided in Monahans for the past 22 years, where she was very active in social and cultural affairs. Most recently, she was archivist for the Ward County Historical Commission, employing her talent in photographic reproduction to preserve historical photos for inclusion in the Ward County history book. She had also been president of the Sands Art Association, a curator at the Sandhills State Park Museum, and an instructor in nature study for young people at the Ward County Library. She was married to Emmert M. Feaster on Sept. 24, 1944, in Grantsville, Md. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Walter Feaster, of Midland, MD.; two sisters: Violet Dute and Mary McClure, both of New Castel. Friends were received in the Wilson - Miller Funeral Chapel. Services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, at St. John Catholic Church with Father Richard Waiwood officiating.
