Fedorowitcz, 69, of Stoystown RD 1 died June 20, 1993, at Maple Mountain Manor, Berlin. Born Dec. 1, 1923, in Quemahoning Township. Son of Thomas and Mary (Pollock) Fedorowitcz. Preceded in death by parents; his wife, the former Eva Wasil; brothers John, Stanley, Mike, Frank and George, and sister, Sophia Minich. Survived by sister, Mary, married to John Muzydla of Hooversville RD 1. Ed started in Scouting as scoutmaster with Troop 146, Stoystown. He worked at Roaring Run Scout Reservation as a ranger and fire warden. He then became a professional Scouter with Robert E. Peary Council and was moved to New Castle, then to Lancaster and then to Maine. He then worked at Penn's Woods Council until his retirement. He was the recipient of Silver Beaver and St. George awards and was a Vigil member of the Order of the Arrow. He also received numerous district and council awards. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus of Windber and St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Acosta, where Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday. Rev. Raymond E. Karr officiating. Interment, parish cemetery. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
