"Dot" 04/19/08 Daily American Dorothy J. "Dot" Feightner, 80, Davidsville, the last surviving member of her immediate family, died April 18, 2008, at Windber Hospice. Born June 22, 1927, in Jerome, daughter of Clarence Cable and Florence (Thomas) Cable-Miller. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Charles B. Feightner, who died in October of 1996; and brother, James Cable. Survived by children, Thomas R. "Dick" and wife, the former Joyce Kemp, and Diane Noon, both of Davidsville. Also survived by grandchildren, Caroline J. Feightner and fiancˇ, Virgil Davis, Johnstown; and Christopher and Bradley Noon, Davidsville. Life member of St. David's Lutheran Church, a graduate of Conemaugh Township High School class of 1945. A member of Conemaugh Township Historical Society, and a volunteer at Hollsopple Senior Citizens Center. She was a retired postal clerk for Davidsville and Johnstown with over 20 years service. She was an avid reader and sports fan especially routing for all the Pittsburgh teams and Penn State. Family receiving friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville, where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday. The Rev. N. Gregory Van Dyke officiating. Inurnment Kaufman Cemetery.
