  Leona M. Felesky, 48, Boswell RD 1, died Sept. 21, 1983, at Mercy
  Hospital.  Born, Dec. 14, 1934, in Quemahoning Township, she was a daughter
  of Harry E. and Mary (Maxwell) Shaffer.  Preceded in death by father;
  husband, John J., who died July 8, 1978; and two sisters, Violet Deist and
  Marie Shaffer.  Survived by mother, Allegheny Lutheran Home; and daughter,
  Caroline, at home.  Sister of Harry, Friedens RD 1; Ida Mae Custer,
  Hooversville RD 1; Blanch Emert, Los Angeles, Calif.; Myrtle Smith, Price,
  Utah; Donald, Johnstown; Annie Eash, Jerome; Jennie Mutz, Pontiac, Mich.;
  Agnes, Los Angeles, Calif.; and Frank, Boswell RD 1.  Member of St.
  Andrew's Lutheran Church, Boswell.  1953 graduate of former Forbes High
  School, Kantner, and employee of Godin & Godin Coal Co., Boswell RD 1. 
  Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the
  Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell.  Body will be removed to St.
  Andrews Church to lie in state from 10 a.m. Saturday until time of service
  at 11 a.m., the Rev. Walter L. Hafer Jr. officiating.  Interment, Somerset
  County Memorial Park.  No viewing at church.
