She always said her children were the best thing in her life. She was known for so many wonderful things, but mostly for her warm smile and honest heart. She was "grandma" to many of Sarah's friends. She enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, cooking and baking. Everyone loved her homemade pies, nutrolls, pierogies and caramels. Her husband "Flip" wanted her to open her own bakery. Her favorite holiday was Christmas because her family was together. She will be sadly missed and forever in the hearts of everyone who knew her. Member of the Moxham Christian Church. Volunteered at New Day where she would make more than 30 pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving, was a social member of the Somerset VFW, and the New Baltimore Sportsmen's Club. Was formerly employed at the Gee Bee Bakery. The family would like to acknowledge the Windber Hospice for their dedication and support during Donna's time of need. There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Maple Springs Church of the Brethren, Jerome. The Rev. John Cable officiating. Interment, Richland Cemetery.
