Fennema, 64, of Bear Creek Road, Accident, Md., died Thursday, Dec 10, 1987, at his residence. Born Nov. 12, 1923 at Colmar, Luxembourg, he was a son of the late Johan and Gertrude (Visser) Fennema. He was the owner and operator of the Maryland Hearing Aid Service. He was also a veteran of World War II, having served as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was also a member of the Unitarian faith. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lorraine (Ford) Fennema; one son, John J. Fennema, Baltimore, Md.; two daughters, Mrs. JoAnne Nicholson, Snead Ferry, N.C.; and Mrs. Janice Flanders, Davidsonville; one stepson, Jack D. Wooden, Reisterstown; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Cynthia Arndt, Garrett; and 10 grandchildren. Services and interment will be private. Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, was in charge of the arrangements.
