  Helen S. Ferko, 84, of Central City died May 5, 2003 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Jan 61 [sic], 1919 in Central City the daughter of John and
  Sophie (Pieklo) Lucas.  Preceded in death by parents; husband Michael;
  sister, Mary and brothers Frank, John, Andy and Stanley.  Survived by sons,
  Michael married to the former Nancy Chervenak, Wyoming, Pa, and Patrick
  married to the former Joyce Nosel, Central City; grandchildren: Kathryn,
  Michael, Patrick and Jenny; brother, Joseph, Baltimore, Md. and a number of
  nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 2 to 5 and 6 to 9 p.m.
  Wednesday at Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City, where Wake service will be
  held Wednesday afternoon.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m.
  Thursday at Our Lady Queen of Angels Chapel with Rev. Father William E.
  Mullen officiating.  Committal, St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
