Ferko, 85, of Central City, died Nov. 9, 2002 at Windber Medical Center. Born July 26, 1917 in Shade Twp., the son of John and Susan (Gallo) Ferko. Preceded in death by parents, brothers John and George and sisters: Mary and Ann. Survived by sons, Michael, married to the former Nancy Chervenak, Wyoming, Pa., and Patrick, married to the former Joyce Nosel, Central City; grandchildren: Kathryn, Patrick, Michael and Jenny. Brother of Andrew, Central City, Paul Brunswick, Ohio, Victor, Hooversville and Margaret Milavec, Johnstown. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Life member of the NRA and Jenners Rod and Gun Club. Member of Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local 354, Central City, New Baltimore's Sportsmen Club, Bald Knob Rifle and Pistol Club, St. John's Sacred Heart Holy Name Society and K of C Council 9109. Friends will be received from 2 to 5 and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City, where vigil for deceased will be held Monday afternoon. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady Queen of Angels Chapel. Rev. Father William Mullen officiating. Committal, St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
