    Naomi L. Ferner, 86, 734 Main St., Berlin, died June 22, 1988 at her 
  residence.  Born Sept. 5, 1901 in Northampton Township, daughter of 
  George and Civilla (Deal) Ackerman.  Preceded in death by parents, husband 
  Ira, four brothers and two sisters.  Survived by numerous nieces and 
  nephews.  Retired from Snyder of Berlin, a member of Berlin Brethren 
  Church, Berlin Legion Auxiliary and AARP.  Friends will be received 2-4 and 
  7-9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, formerly 
  Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, where service will be held at 2 p.m.
  Saturday, the Rev. Ralph Mills.  Interment, I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Berlin.
