    Paul C. Ferner, 81, Rockwood RD 2, died Jan. 20, 1980, in Maple 
  Mountain Manor, Berlin.  He was born July 29, 1898, in Milford Twp., a son 
  of John and Minnie (Miller) Ferner.
    He was preceded in death by parents, sister Laura Ellen Thomas and 
  one grandson.  He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Thomas Ferner, and 
  these children: daughter Pauline Dona, Rockwood, RD 2; Clyde, Labrobe; 
  Glenn, Pendelton, Ore.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; 
  brother John, Rockwood RD 2, and sisters Mary Gary and Anna Cramer, both 
  of New Centerville.
    He was a member of the Somerset Seventh Day Adventist Church.  He 
  retired in 1967 from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
    Services were held in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home with the 
  Rev. Michael E. Miller officiating.  Interment, Middlecreek Cemetery.
