Born Aug. 8, 1928, in Pennsylvania, she resided in New Jersey from 1947 to 1977 before moving back to Pa. She was the daughter of the late William and Nevada Blanche (Mostoller) Kimmel Sr. Preceded in death by her devoted husband, Anthony Sr., on May 22, 2003; her parents; sisters, Victoria Smith, Valma Walker and Shirley Couster; her brothers, William, Wilmer, George and John Kimmel. Survived by her loving son, Anthony Jr. and his wife, Loretta, Lehigh Acres, Fla.; adoring grandchildren, Anthony III, married to Dawn, Toms River, N.J., Kristen of Wesley Chapel, Fla., Kim Hayes, California; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was the beloved sister of Luella Speicher, Somerset; sister-in-law, Rose Szilagyi, Belleville, N.J., and Ruth Kimmel, Pittston; brother-in-law, Glenn Smith, Somerset, and numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. A Funeral Mass will be held 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Somerset. The Rev. Monsignor Samuel Tomaselli, celebrant. A committal service prior to interment will be held 10:30 a.m. at the Flight 93 Memorial Chapel in Shanksville. The Rev. Alphonse Mascherino officiating.
