Born May 5, 1946, at Meyersdale, he was the son of the late Samuel R. and Beatrice (Holler) Ferraro. He was preceded in death by two brothers: James Ferraro and John Ferraro. He is survived by his wife, Sherri M. (Bodes) Ferraro; one son, Anthony, Salisbury; two daughters: Tina, wife of Ray Devine, Accident, Md.; Amber Ferraro, Pittsburgh; one stepson, Richard Maust, Springs; one stepdaughter, Lori, wife of Jeff Haines, Frostburg, Md.; five grandchildren: Tara, Tanya and Tori Devine, Brent Maust and Carli Haines. He is also survived by one brother, Samuel Ferraro and wife Shelly, Meyersdale; and one sister, Rosemary Ferraro, Woodbine, Md. Mr. Ferraro was a self-employed Barber and worked as Lead Foreman at Stanton's and Maple Mtn. Industries. He was a member of Shunk Run Hunt Club and St. John's United Church of Christ. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Inc., Salisbury, Thursday. Services were held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Friday with Pastor Tommy Holliday officiating. At Mr. Ferraro's request, his body was then cremated. A private graveside service was scheduled to be held at the convenience of the family.
