Born Nov. 16, 1926, in Milford Township, son of M. Luther and Nellie (Mosholder) Ferrel. Preceded in death by parents; daughter Trina Benedict; granddaughter Amy Messenger; sister Alice Anderson; and brothers Blair, Clyde and Robert Ferrel. Survived by wife Mildred "Billie" Ferrel; son Terry, married to (Sandy), Albright of Naples, Fla.; daughters Mrs. Dennis (Georgia) Trimpey, Somerset, and Mrs. David (Holly) Messenger, Friedens; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Brother of Elaine Augustine, Somerset, and Marie Bender, Berlin. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy in World War II. Retired truck driver. He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local No. 377 and the Laborer's Union Local No. 409. Also VFW Post 554 and the FOE Post 1801. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Interment Weller Cemetery.
