"Pee Wee" (Leazier) 01/13/05 Daily American Thelma I. "Pee Wee" (Leazier) Ferrel, 80, Lorain, Ohio, died Jan. 12, 2005, at Community Health Partners HSC - West, Lorain after a sudden illness. Born Feb. 18, 1924, in Somerset, she has lived in Lorain for the past 48 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Walter and Mary (Wilson) Leazier; brothers, Jim, Fred and Bob; and sisters, Ruth Leazier, Louise Martin, and a sister who died in infancy. She is survived by her two sons, Ronald Miller, Amherst, Ohio, and Barry Miller, of Elyria, Ohio; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Bill Leazier, and Dave Leazier, both of Amherst and Jack Leizer; and two sisters, Dorothy Yoder, Friedens, and Rose Baker, Somerset. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign War Post 451 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians and Pittsburgh Steelers, playing the lottery and spending time with her family. The family will receive friends 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain, Ohio. Friends may also call at the funeral home 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Travis Bailey, New Harvest Baptist Church, Wakeman, Ohio, will officiate.
