EDWARD M. FERRELL

  Edward M. Ferrell, 75, retired furniture dealer of Reisterstown, Md., died in 
the Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, on Wednesday, August 7, after a brief 
illness.  He was a son of the late Thomas and Mary McCarty Ferrell and was born 
in Louisville, Ky.
  Surviving is one son, Thomas R. Ferrell of Grantsville, where he had his home 
since August, 1945.
  The funeral was held Friday afternoon at the Winterberg Funeral Home, Rev. 
George Bowersox, pastor of the Lutheran Church, officiated.  Interment in the 
Grantsville Cemetery. The pallbearers were Lawrence, Ivan, Sherman and William 
Miller and Russell and Albert Jones.
