  HERBERT FIDLER
  
  Herbert Fidler, 77, 503 Salisbury St., Meyersdale, died May 4, 1971, at
  home.  Born April 22, 1894, on Garrett RD, he was a son of John and Abbie
  (Schrock) Fidler.
  
  He was foreman for the B&O Railroad Company for 50 years.
  
  Surviving are his wife, the former Mae (Yutzy) Garlitz; sons, Jack,
  Wheeling, W.Va.; Elwood F. Garlitz, Commack, Long Island, N.Y.; and Edison
  Garlitz, Bladensburg, Md.; a daughter, Mrs. Merle (Pauline) Werner,
  Baltimore; five grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Orpha Burkholder, Garrett RD.
  
  Friends are being received at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where funeral
  service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, with Rev. Raymond Mankamyer
  officiating.  Interment in Hostetler Cemetery, Meyersdale RD 3.
