  Homer L. Fieg, 80, Friedens RD 2, died Sept. 23, 1984, in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born Aug. 13, 1904, in Stonycreek Township, the last
  surviving child of 10 children of the late William and Emma (Trent) Fieg. 
  Also preceded in death by first wife, the former Catharine Barndt. 
  Survived by his wife, the former Ruth A. (Patton) Hay; daughter, Sarah Jane
  Miller, Lindenhurst, N.Y.;  son, Alan L. Hay Sr., Friedens RD 2;
  grandchildren: Kathy C. Miller, Lindenhurst, N.Y.; Ricky Miller, USMC, Camp
  Pendleton, Calif.; Alan L. Hay Jr., Alana M. Hay, Maralana D. Hay, all of
  Friedens RD 2; step-daughter, Phyllis J. Hay, Berlin; step-son, Clinton E.
  Hay, Friedens RD 2.  Retired coal miner, member of Shanksville United
  Methodist Church, UMWA Local 1742 Jenners; and Sweet 60s of Somerset. 
  Family received friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral
  Home, Stoystown, where services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev.
  Michael L. Holt officiating.  Interment, Mizpah Cemetery.
