    Ruth Annie Patton Hay Fieg, 82, Friedens, died Oct. 11, 2008, at Siemon's Lakeview
  Manor Estate. Born March 7, 1926, in Summit Township, a daughter of Phenice V. and Grace
  Ollie (Hostetler) Patton. Preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Eugene C. Hay and
  Homer Fieg; sister, Mabel Sines; and infant sister, Alice Patton; and brothers, Harry,
  Ray, Earl and Charles Patton. Survived by children, Phyllis Hay Hause, Meyersdale;
  Clinton E. Hay, married to the former Darlee Shaffer, and Alan Hay, married to the former
  Marie Myers, all of Friedens; grandchildren, Kenneth Hause and Tonia Shultz, both of
  Meyersdale; Heather Ohler, Keith Hay and James Hay, all of Friedens; Alan Hay Jr.,
  Pittsburgh; Alana Fabian, Derry; Maralana Fulton and Andy Hay, both of Friedens; three
  great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren. Sister of Mary Lung, Clarence
  and Floyd Patton. She was a seamstress for the New Centerville sewing factory. Member of
  the Rayman Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed sewing, making quilts and going on bus
  tours. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 1 p.m. until time of
  service, 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. The Rev. Sherman H. Berkey
  officiating. Interment, Mizpah Cemetery.
