  MRS. WILLIAM FIFE
  
    Mrs. Ruth L. Fife, 50, of Meyersdale, died March 27, 1975, in Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.  Born Nov. 10, 1924, in Oakland, Md., she was a
  daughter of the late Jasper and Laura Mae Uphold.
    Surviving are her husband, William (Gus); a daughter, Mrs. David
  (Katherine) Brant, Meyersdale; and three grandchildren.
    She was a sister of H. Clay Uphold, Mrs. Genevieve Miller, Mrs. Gertrude
  Kitzmiller and Mrs. Jennie Stewart, all of Oakland, Md.; Mrs. Frances
  Grimes, Lorain, Ohio, and Mrs. Daisy Sanders, Rowlesburg, W. Va.
    Friends were received Friday in Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, and on
  Saturday in Stewart Funeral Home, Oakland, Md., where funeral service was
  held on Sunday afternoon with Rev. John Glick officiating.  Interment in
  Garrett County Memorial Gardens, Oakland.
