  FIFE
  
  William G. (Gus) Fife, 68, Meyersdale, died Oct. 7, 1984, in Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.  Born Jan. 13, 1916, in Point Marion, Pa., son of late
  Dennis and Ida (Taemann) Fife.  Preceded in death by wife, former Ruth L.
  Uphold.  Survived by daughter, Katherine L. Brant, Meyersdale; and three
  grandchildren, Karen, Michael and Joseph.  Friends will be received from
  2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service
  will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Bobby Phillips.  Interment,
  Garrett County Memorial Garden, Oakland, Md.
