  FIGGE
  
  Miss Bertha M. Figge, 89, of Altoona, formerly of Boswell RD 1, died Jan.
  4, 1974, at Altoona Hospital.  Born Oct. 5, 1884, Jenner Township, a
  daughter of Daniel and Carolin Smith Figge.   Preceded in death by parents,
  these brothers and sisters: William, Elizabeth, Henry, Edward, Joseph, John,
  Frank, Mrs. Sarah Daniels, and Lewis.  Was last member of family of 10
  children.  Survived by several nieces and nephews, including Walter Daniels
  of Altoona, who was reared by the Figges.  Member of Laurel Trinity Lutheran
  Church, Jennerstown.  Friends were received from 7:30-9 p.m. Friday and will
  be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral
  Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell, where service will be held at 2 p.m.
  Sunday, Rev. Arthur L. Mentzer and  Rev. Donald Speigle.  Interment Thomas
  Mennonite Cemetery.
