(Gnagey) Fike, 56, of Meyersdale, died at Meyersdale Community Hospital, Tuesday, August 8, 1978, following a prolonged illness. Born May 30, 1922, in Summit Township, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Elsie (Lepley) Gnagey. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a half-brother, Merle Murphy. She is survived by her husband, Robert M., and these children: Randy, of Meyersdale RD 3; Susie, wife of David P. Lohr, also of Meyersdale RD 3; and Sally, of Meyersdale. Also surviving are six brothers: Glenn of Bridgeport, West Virginia; the Rev. Ray, of Big Run, Pa.; Guy, Clay, Max and Bruce, all of Meyersdale. Three grandchildren, Ben and DeAnn Lohr and Michelle Fike, also survive. She was a member of the Meyersdale Church of the Brethren. Friends will be received at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The body will lie in state at the Meyersdale Church of the Brethren one hour prior to funeral services at 11 a.m. Thursday.
