    Ray W. Fike, 78, of 415 North St., Berlin, died June 17, 1988, at Maple
  Mountain Manor, Berlin.  Born July 29, 1909 in Greenville Township, son of
  Bruce and Emma (Klingeman) Fike.  Preceded in death by parents, two
  brothers and one sister.  Survived by wife, the former Leora Schrock; and
  these children: Ernest B., married to the former Sue Trace of
  Mechanicsburg; Mrs. Charles (Shirley) Gindlesperger of Berlin; six
  grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.  Brother of Mrs. Mildred Saupaw of
  Orlando, Fla.; Mrs. Calvin (Ethel) Price of Silver Spring, Md.  Former
  police officer and postal worker in Meyersdale.  Member of Berlin Brethren
  Church.  Army veteran of World War II.  Member of Meyersdale VFW, Post 3504
  and Meyersdale American Legion.  Family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9
  p.m. Saturday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, formerly Johnson-Kuhlman
  Funeral Home, where service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, the Rev. Ralph
  Mills officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
