Born Nov. 25, 1921 in Manassas, Prince William County, Va., daughter of John Everett and Elizabeth (Stapleton) Golihew. Preceded in death by parents and six brothers and sisters. Survived by: husband, Oran Paul Fike to whom she was married for 54 years; children, Mrs. Hammond (Carol) Jones of Lakeland, Fla.; James P. Fike of Atoka, Okla.; Robert F. Fike of Dallas, Texas; John F. Fike of Greenbelt, Md.; and Oran P. Fike Jr. of Sparta, Tenn.; sisters, Mrs. Annie Holder of Hialeah, Fla.; Mrs. Grace Chamberlain of Riverdale, Md., and Mrs. Goldie McMillan of Oakland, Md., and 12 grandchildren. Member of the First Christian Church of Somerset and a 1939 graduate of Central High School in Washington DC. Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where services will be conducted 10 a.m. Wednesday, with Pastor Daniel F. Nicksich officiating. Interment, Washington National Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Somerset Area Agency on Aging, 1338 South Edgewood Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
