"Toot" Findley, 79, Imler, died unexpectedly Oct. 10, 1981, at Lee Hospital Johnstown. Born Aug. 20, 1902, in Bedford County, son of the late Jacob and Effie (Crawford) Findley. Preceded in death by two sisters and a brother. Survived by widow, the former Marian Neil; a daughter, Sara Jane "Janie", wife of Dean Fetter, Bedford RD 1; and stepdaughter, Barbara, wife of Wiley Shepard, Dublin, Ga.; also three grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. Also survived by a nephew who was raised by Mr. Findley, Chester Findley, New Paris, RD. Retired as self-employed John Deere Farm Implement Dealer in New Paris after 53 years. Member of Chestnut Ridge Senior Citizens; and Pennwood Bible Church. Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. G. Robert Ritchie officiating.
