  Evelyn Mae Firestone, 87, Somerset, passed on Nov. 11, 2005, at Frick Hospital
  in Mount Pleasant. Born July 4, 1918, in Somerset, she is the daughter of the
  late Harry and Lana (Smith) Lape. She is preceded in death by her parents;
  husband, Elroy Hill Firestone in 1988; and a great-grandson. She is survived by
  her children, Robert and wife Edna, Scottdale; Joyce and husband, James Mills,
  Kittaning; and James and wife Bertha, Venice, Fla.; eight grandchildren; 11
  great-grandchildren; and Louise Firestone. She was a retired nurse at Somerset
  Hospital and the Armstrong County Home. She was a member of the Dawson Grange
  and was a member of Beachdale Church of the Brethren in Brothersvalley
  Township. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home,
  Somerset, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Larry Black
  officiating. Interment at Beachdale Cemetery.
