  FIRESTONE
  
  Lloyd J. Firestone, 57, South Edgewood Avenue, Somerset, died May 23, 1979,
  at Memorial Hospital, Johnstown.  Born July 20, 1921, in Westmoreland
  County, he was a son of the late Ross and Emma (Nedrow) Firestone. 
  Preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and two half-brothers. 
  Survived by his wife, the former Blanche Speelman; one son, Larry, married
  to the former Barbara Newman, Friedens RD 1; a daughter, Mrs. Ellis (Donna)
  Kimmel, Berlin RD 1; and seven grandchildren.  Brother of: Mrs. Gertrude
  Bittner, Rockwood RD 2; Mrs. Dorothy Gardner, Somerset RD 3; Mrs. Gala
  Boley, Greensburg; Mrs. Wayne Walthour, Youngwood RD 1; Leo J., Youngwood;
  and Elroy, Berlin.  Member of New Centerville Church of God.  Friends will
  be received after 2 p.m. Friday in the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where
  funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Warren
  MacEachern and Rev. Howard Reckley officiating.  Interment, Somerset County
  Memorial Park.
