"Snuffy" Firestone, 67, of Rockwood RD 2, died Dec. 14, 1993, in Middlecreek Township while deer hunting. Born Aug. 24, 1926, in Normalville. Son of the late Russell and Mabel (Ohler) Firestone. Preceded in death by a brother, Sam Firestone. Survived by his wife, the former Ardith Ochiuto, and four sons - Scott Firestone, Pittsburgh; Gregory Firestone, Finleyville; Dean Firestone, Pittsburgh, and Drew Firestone, United, and four brothers - Jerry Firestone, Irwin; Jim Firestone, Genoa, Ohio; Tom Firestone, Donegal, and Robert Firestone, Mill Run; one sister, Dorothy Donaldson of Normalville; three grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Retired carpenter working in the Local 2274 of Pittsburgh. Veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army. Member of the Donegal American Legion and the National Rifle Association. He was of the Protestant faith. There will be no public visitation. Arrangements are being handled by Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, 28 Connellsville St., Dunbar, Pa.
