  Elwood E. "Tot" Firl, 86, of Meyersdale, died March 17, 2003, at Meadow
  View Nursing Center, Berlin.  Born Jan. 2, 1917, in Summit Mills, a son of
  the late Milton U. and Mary (Emerick) Firl.  Also preceded in death by his
  wife, the former Kathryn E. Brenneman, grandson, Troy Bryan Weaver and
  brothers, Kenneth and William Edgar Firl.  Survived by his daughter, Donna
  F., wife of Ronald Weaver, Meyersdale, and grandson, Ronald Todd Weaver.  A
  member of Summit Mills Grace Brethren Church, Last Man Club of Berlin and
  Masonic Lodge, Meyersdale.  Retired service technician for Pulver Systems
  Inc., Chicago Ridge, Ill.  Veteran U.S. Army World War II and was a POW in
  Germany.  Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the
  Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale.  Service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday
  at Summit Mills Grace Brethren Church.  The Rev. Al Valentine officiating. 
  Interment, Lichty Cemetery, Summit Mills.
