MARY LOUISE FIRL

  Mrs. Mary Louise (Schaffer) Firl, widow of James Firl, died at her home in 
Summit Mills, early Wednesday morning, May 19.
  She was born in Somerset County near Rockwood, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Karl 
Schaffer, and was aged 70 years at the time of her death.
  Surviving are three sons, Preston Firl of Johnstown, Clarence of Meyersdale 
and Ralph of Akron, O.; one daughter, Mrs. Pat Hughes of Meyersdale R.D.; five 
grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Malinda Enos of Rockwood, and a brother, Charles 
Schaffer of Garrett, R.D.  Her husband and two children preceded her in death.
  Funeral services will be held at the Konhaus Funeral Home at 2:30 o'clock 
Friday afternoon, with Rev. Gerald Polman officiating.  Interment will be made 
in the Lichty Cemetery.
