  MRS. MARY O. FIRL
  
    Mrs. Mary O. Firl, 75, of Berlin, died March 8, 1973.  Born Aug. 14, 
  1897, in Somerset County, she was a daughter of the late Henry and 
  Savilla (Gnagey) Opel.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin
  Firl, in 1942.
    Surviving are two daughters. Mrs. Philip (Leona) Beckett of Mineral 
  Point RD 1, and Mrs. Paul (Ruth) Marteney, Meyersdale; seven 
  grandchildren; two brothers, John Opel of Accident, Md.; and William of
  Meyersdale RD 3; and a sister, Mrs. Sylvester (Elizabeth) Maust of 
  Louisville, Ohio.
    Funeral service was conducted Sunday afternoon in Konhaus Funeral 
  Home, Meyersdale, with Rev. Robert Burns officiating.
