Fischer, 83, died Feb. 16, 2003 in Prescott, Ariz. Born Nov. 8, 1919 in Harrisonville, to Charles and Maude (Strait) Kline. Preceded in death by parents; first husband, Richard Hollenshead in 1971 and second husband Clyde Fischer in 1999; also five brothers and one sister. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Diana and James Ryan of Dewey; brothers, Lemar and Horace Kline; sister, Freda Mellott all of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Richard Ryan, Dana Mast, and Kara Gallegos; great-grandchildren: Nikole, Diana, Danielle, Edward, Bobby, Christine, Emery and Zachary. Gwendolyn sold children's shoes before her retirement. She enjoyed bowling and watching sports, especially Phoenix Suns basketball. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Sunrise Funeral Home in Prescott Valley, Ariz., where funeral services for Gwendolyn will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with Rev. Gary Simons officiating. Burial will take place in Husband Cemetery in Somerset, Pa., at a later date. Family requests memorials be made in her memory to Back to School Clothing Drive, P.O.
