Fisher, 88, of 1004 East Main St., Berlin, died Nov. 21, 1975, at home. She was born June 24, 1887, in Berlin, a daughter of the late Jacob and Elizabeth (Bearl) Ross. Preceded in death by her husband, Alex, and two sons, Archie and Victor. She is survived by these children: Glen, Somerset; Mrs. Myrtle Harding, Berlin; George, Meyersdale; Mrs. John (Beulah) Bender, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Carl (Pearl) Yoder, Meyersdale; also these step-children: Mary Ohler, Meyersdale; and John Fisher, Johnstown. She was a sister of Mrs. George Smith, Somerset; Irene Rogers, Baltimore, Md.; Mary Lape, Ohio; and Oleta Ross, Berlin; 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She was a Gold Star mother and oldest member of the Berlin American Legion Auxiliary. A memorial service was held by the legion auxiliary Sunday evening. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday (today) at Johnson and Son Funeral Home, Berlin, with the Rev. Charles Sigler officiating. Interment, Berlin IOOF Cemetery.
