  MRS. JAMES FISHER
  
    Mrs. Dorothy E. Fisher, 68, of Garrett, died Sept. 23, 1973, in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born Dec. 16, 1904, in Garrett, she was a
  daughter of the late Sidney and Amy Etta (Weimer) Burke.  She was preceded
  in death by her husband, James Fisher, two sons and a daughter.  She was
  the last survivor of a family of 16.
    Surviving are these children: Charles and John, both of Erie; George, at
  home; and Mrs. John Chaney, of Newburg; 27 grandchildren and 11
  great-grandchildren.
    She was a member of the Garrett American Legion Auxiliary, and Garrett
  Chamber of Commerce.
    Mass of the Resurrection was held Wednesday morning in Sts. Philip and
  James Catholic Church, Meyersdale, with Rev. Clark George officiating. 
  Interment in Highland Cemetery, Garrett, under the direction of Price
  Funeral Home, Meyersdale.
