"Peanuts" Fisher, 73, Boswell RD 3, died April 5, 1989, at Mercy Hospital, Johnstown. He was born Oct. 27, 1915, in Acosta, son of Clyde Baer and Elsie M. Fisher. Preceded in death by parents and first wife, Rosemary Hanley. Survived by his wife, the former Irene Wingard; daughters: Mrs. Leonard (Thelma) Keyser, Boswell RD 1; and Mrs. Fred (Betty) Frampton, Boswell RD 3; stepchildren: Constance Lee, wife of Dr. Larry Bourke, Tampa, Fla.; and Ray Crissey, Alexandria, Va.; and 10 grandchildren. He was a brother of Gladys Dixon, Michigan. Former employee of PennDOT and Fetterolf Coal Company. He received the Purple Heart in World War II, where he served in Europe with the Army. He was a member of the Somerset VFW and the Johnstown DAV. Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Thursday, and 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service is 10:30 a.m. Saturday with Monsignor Samuel J. Tomaselli.
